Every doctor takes an oath and is motivated to mitigate his/her patient's pain. With the same motivation, Biju Sir who is very well-known at Health Solutions, as well as in general as an Osteopath of great repute, and I ventured to heal our very young patient, a 17 year old who suffers from Avascular Necrosis (AVN) which refers to a condition causing the bones at the hip joints to decompose, resulting in death of muscle tissues at the hip joint leading to an inability to walk. At first, he would find taking even two steps to be very difficult. He consulted Health Solutions during the lockdown period, when we provided home services and with curated and customised techniques like Osteopathy, Acupuncture and Bandhachikitsa along with traditional Ayurvedic treatments like Tiktaksheer Basti, he was able to walk with relative ease and without a walker. As a combined result of the patient's determination with ours, he is now even able to sit with folded legs, which is considered to be a mammoth feat for patients suffering from this ghastly disease.

How did you manage to restore Blood supply to a joint suffering from AVN? There is no substantiated treatment for restoring Blood supply to a Necrosed Hip joint.
ReplyDeletePain relief and restoration of range is not difficult to achieve in a Necrosed Hip joint, as the joint surfaces degrade slowly - allowing changes in range of motion.
What does the MRI of the joint show after Ayurvedic treatment? Has blood supply been restored to the Hip joint?
Now that would be phenomenal!
